Social Security payment dates 2027
Social Security pays on a Wednesday chosen by your birthday: born on the 1st–10th, the 2nd Wednesday; 11th–20th, the 3rd Wednesday; 21st–31st, the 4th Wednesday.
If you started benefits before May 1997, or you get both Social Security and SSI, you're paid on the 3rd of the month instead.
