When does SNAP come in New York?
New York loads SNAP benefits between the 1st and 9th of each month, based on the last digit of your case number.
- New York City is different: benefits go out over the first two weeks, on the 13 days that aren't Sundays or holidays, by the last digit of your case number (the "toe digit"). NYC posts the exact dates for each month on its HRA website, under column A for SNAP.
